IN THANKSGIVING

I have come to understand that my perspective is the most important choice I make in this life.  It colors how I receive and view everything else.  It is a deliberate decision that I make each moment I am awake and aware.  If I choose to love and have a grateful heart, I will see all things in a positive light.  One of my favorite Bible Verses is Romans 8:28: "And we know that all things God works together for the good of those who love Him."   I know this is true because I have witnessed it personally many times in my own life as I faced the inevitable trials of being human.  I have now come to the place in my own Spiritual Journey where I chose this perspective as truth which is born of my own experiences.  Whatever I face, I embrace as needed for my own personal and spiritual growth. Trust me, I do not go out looking for trials, I am basically a chicken, but I know I would not want to be the person I would have been without them because I have learned so much about myself and the good that can come from that knowledge.  This Thanksgiving I am grateful for all the times I have struggled to take the next step forward because I have witnessed how God has worked all things together for my good.
